For sale in this lot we have a Winston custom 5 weight fly rod. The rod originates from the Jackson Hole One Fly set from 1998. The Jackson Hole one fly is a fundraiser competition to raise money to fund stream improvement projects, and they give away gear to the winners of the competition. The rod is beautifully crafted with a dark green fiber glass rod, a cigar style cork handle, and a walrus ivory scrimshaw reel seat with the image of a golden trout rising to eat a fly over a stone riverbed. The rod is marked "R. L. Winston Rod Co. - Jackson Hole - One Fly - LT - 8'9" - ~5 - 3 1/4 oz. - 62172". The rod measures 8 feet 9 inches overall and is in wonderful condition. It also comes with a Winston carry case. This is a completely custom fly rod that would have cost over $2,000 in 1998.

After you have succeessfully completed your purchase, including payment of your item, the shipping process will begin. Our company has partnered with a few local third party shipping vendors.
