Offered in this lot is a WWII military officer's cap locket style brooch with military canon insignia on the top and eagle insignia on the front. This is a classic example of WWII sweetheart jewelry that is done in brass and khaki green enamel. The brooch opens at the front of the cap to reveal a place to insert a round photo of your loved one. It is in good condition; however, there are signs of wear, which is to be expected given its 1940s age. The brooch measures 1 3/4" from front to back and is 1 3/8" round at the top with a height of 3/4".
