For your consideration is this lot of 4 circa WWI Era U.S. Haversacks. All the canvas haversacks are khaki tan, Two of them are marked, "U.S." on the outside and "Rock Island Arsenal" on the inside. A 3rd is marked "N.G.N.J./ U.S." on the outside; it also has some previous owners' markings on it. It also has a marking on the inside that would identify it as being from the Spanish-American War. The 4th is slightly smaller than the others. The outside is marked, "C-4-VA-U.S.-2". The haversacks are all in good, used condition. Unfolded, The larger haversacks measure 14 1/4" x 29".
