Featured in this lot is this WWII era, single-sided, spear dagger fighting knife, circa 1940's. The knife features composite and wooden ring handle with an aluminum hilt. The blade shows a uniquely shaped spear point dagger constructed from a previously clip point fighting knife. The sheath is original and professionally crafted, showing its age and exposure level; it is held together with copper wire and features a small pouch attached to the sheath. The condition of this knife is fair; the knife has a medium patina adorning the knife consistent with its age and the sheath shows wear with fading to the leather and patina adorning the seam of copper wire. The measurements of this knife in the sheath are 12 1/8" x 2 1/2" x 1 1/2" and the blade length is 6".
