Featured in this lot is a WWII era trench theater clip point fighting knife, circa 1945. The knife displays a thick clip point blade, with the blade showing a cylinder construction near the guard. The guard shows thin sheet metal construction, and the pommel shows aluminum construction. The grip is formed from layered rings of red, clear, and green resin, dark leather, and metal. The piece comes with a brown leather sheath and shows q section of warm patina across the knife. The piece shows good condition overall, with some wear due to age. The knife measures 12" long with the blade being 7 1/4" long.
