Featured in this lot is a late 1940s WWII military jeep cigarette case and lighter with a "trailer" ashtray, made in U.S. occupied Germany by Baier Ges-Gesch. The military style jeep features a removable top to set cigarettes in and keep them stored. The door handles, when pushed down, pop the front of the hood open, producing a spark to light the wick. The jeep comes with a detachable trailer acting as an ashtray and features a deep bowl and four grooves for placing cigarettes. The top of the jeep roof reads, "Sherry And Rosemarie." The lighting mechanism works flawlessly and produces a spark, but the gas chamber needs to be refilled. The piece shows good condition overall with smooth rolling wheels and little wear present. No obvious signs of damage are noted. The piece measures 9 3/4" L x 3 3/8" W x 3" H and weighs approximately 1lb,10oz.*
