The G-1 jacket remains a current uniform-issued item in naval aviation for officer and enlisted aviation personnel to this day. This jacket shows a rich leather body with a fleece collar. Embroidered on the inside flap of the leather fly shows "USN". The inside lining to this jacket is made from a synthetic material such as polyester or nylon.
