For your consideration is this WWII, United States Navy, Mark 1 fighting knife with leather sheath originating from the 1940s. The knife was manufactured by Camillus in New York and shows a nice straight blade with full tang and leather grips. The knife is marked on the blade reading "U.S.N." on one side and "Camillus N.Y." on the other side. It comes with its original leather sheath marked reading, "U.S.N." on the front side. The piece is in very good condition with some minor sheath friction wear on the blade and wear to the leather sheath but no signs of major damage is noted. The blade measures 5" L x 1" W, with the entire knife measuring 9 5/8" L x 1 3/4" W x 1" D. In the sheath it measures 10 1/2" L x 2 1/4" W. It has a total weight of 8 ounces.
