This edition was illustrated by Jack Ellis Haynes, the famous official photographer of Yellowstone and other National Parks. The many Haynes photographs are what make this edition special. The vintage black and white photography captures the beauty and power of the geysers. Geysers are a natural phenomenon found only in a few places in the world thus they fascinate us with their behaviour and striking beauty.
