For your consideration is this collection of Yellowstone National Park ephemera circa 1900-1972. The collection includes two stereoview photos, two bronze Centennial coins, and a pack of playing cards. The stereoview photos were taken by William W. Myers and T. W. Ingersoll. Ingersoll's photo shows an older man with a long white beard standing in an area around Mammoth. Myers's photo shows Old Faithful Geyser at the peak of its eruption. The playing cards are souvenir cards from Yellowstone National Park and were published by the Official Photographer of Yellowstone, F. J. Haynes. The cards show a total of 53 photos taken by F. J. Haynes throughout his years of photographing Yellowstone. The cards show Old Faithful Geyser on the backsides and feature gold gilt edges. The cards are housed inside a sleeve with a cover. The cover reads, "Yellowstone National Park Souvenir Playing Cards / Published by the Official Photographer Haynes / St. Paul, Minn., U.S.A." in gold gilt lettering. The box shows wear but the playing cards show good condition. The final two items in this collection are 1972 National Parks Centennial bronze coins commemorating Yellowstone for being a National Park for 100 years. One side of the coin shows Old Faithful Geyser at the peak of its eruption and reads, "1872 National Parks Centennial 1972 / Old Faithful". The opposite side of the coin shows a mountain scene with a buffalo standing near the edge of a river. The top shows the World and reads, "Parks, Man and His Environment / A Second Century". The pieces in this collection show good condition overall with slight wear to the playing card box and stereoview photos but no signs of obvious damage is present. The stereoview photos measure 3 3/8" L x 6 7/8" W to 4" L x 7" W, the playing card box measures 3 5/8" L x 2 7/8" W x 7/8" D, and the coins measure 2 3/4" in diameter and 3/16" in thickness. They have a collective weight of 14 ounces.
