Featured in this lot is this Yurok polychrome hand woven basket serving mat. The serving mat shows a beautifully hand woven construction with figurines of two birds and geometric shapes woven into the piece. The Yurok have traditionally inhabited the northwestern region of California. Today, many of the Yurok people still live on the Yurok reservation along the Klamath River. The condition of this basket is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this serving mat are 9 1/4" x 7 3/8".
