Included in this lot is Zane Grey's Wanderer of the Wasteland, First Edition, 1923, Grosset & Dunlap publishers, New York. Illustrated With Scenes From The Technicolor Photoplay A Paramount Picture. Pearl Zane Grey was an American author and dentist. He is known for his popular adventure novels and stories associated with the Western genre in literature and the arts; He idealized the American frontier. "Wanderer of the Wasteland," is a thinly disguised autobiography. Zane Grey was a major force in shaping the myths of the Old West; His books and stories were adapted into other media, such as film and TV productions. He was the author of more than 90 books, some published posthumously, with others based on serials originally published in magazines. Original publisher's red cloth bound, hardcover, front cover illustration and spine are stamped in black. Cover edges exhibit scuffing and staining. Intact pages have moisture staining, cross-over bleeding from cover cloth, age tanning and foxing. No other obvious marring noted. Measures 7.5"L x 5"W x 1.5"D.*
