The lot features an excellent set of two hand woven, flat weave pillows by master weaver Julia Ruiz. The pillows were made using 100% soft, fine Churro Wool yarns. Churro wool is a time-tested fiber that is strong and soft and provides a vibrant base for colors. The tight, hand woven weave shows rich colors in the fine Zanzibar Bandas pattern of the time-honored Zapotec, multi-generational craft by a master weaver, Julia Ruiz. The set is in brand new condition and is made with a pre-shrunk cotton backing with a zipper. Pillow inserts are included. Each pillow is 18 1/2” x 18 1/2” and approximately 6.5” deep. The pillows are stiff, square supportive pillows. The lot includes the set of two pillows and two pillow inserts in brand new condition.
