Featured in this lot is this Zapotec Chief's medallion Saltillo Marisol rug circa 1960's. This rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted 100% wool construction that was hand woven in Mexico and shows a Chief's blanket decoration that shows a central medallion with triangle decoration along the sides of the rug and shows coloration of red, black, cream, and heathered grey coloration and features double fringe on both sides of the rug. The condition of this sampler Saltillo rug is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this Saltillo rug is 23 1/2" x 23 1/2".
