Featured in this lot is this Zapotec First Mesa pictorial hand woven rug circa 1970. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted hand woven wool construction. The rug features a beautifully crafted that shows banded decoration with First Mesa geometric patterns adorning the bands and shows a couple bands of fletchas decorated bands along with humanoid designs to some of the bands and running horses adorning others. The condition of this rug is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this rug are 58 1/2" x 58 1/2".
