You are bidding on a hand woven and hand dyed Zapotec Native American Indian Rug. This a 100% wool rug and makes for a perfect table runner. It is made by the Zapotec Indians in in Oaxaca, Mexico. The Zapotec are significant because 400 years ago the Spanish missionaries taught the Navajo and Zapotec how to weave, these practices are still mastered today in both Zapotec and Navajo tribes. This rug measures 53" x 9.5" and is in very good condition.
