Featured in this lot is a Zapotec Saltillo medallion woven shawl or blanket from the early to mid 1900's. The shawl is constructed out of a cotton and wool mix. It shows a wonderful geometric medallion pattern with multicolored striations going across the piece. The shawl shows a wide gradient of colors of red, blue, orange, pink, and white, with black and tan predominantly across the shawl. The shawl is in good condition overall, with little to no signs of damage, except to the knotted tasseling on the ends. It measures 42" long by 19" wide.
