Included in this lot is a Zapotec Mexican Indian handmade rug in the style of a Native American Crystal eye dazzler wool rug from the late 1900's. The Crystal pattern started in the 1930's. This rug features a borderless edge with horizontal bands of geometrical designs. The bands are separated by "wavy lines" that is created by alternating and crossing the color of each weft. The colors are of natural wool with vegetal dyed colors. The colors of this rug include brown, black, off-white, light green, and lavender. This rug is in fair condition, showing some stains and signs of wear. The rug measures 67" by 24 1/4". Late 1900's contemporary rug made in Mexico by the Zapotec Indians.
