Presented in this lot is a Zuni Adrain Wallace Multi-Stone Butterfly Inlay Cuff Bracelet. This inlay cuff bracelet features a wonderfully and professionally crafted sterling silver split shank construction and incorporates channel inlay of Sleeping Beauty turquoise, Jet, red branch coral, red spiny oyster and Mother of Pearl, with silver beads and silver wire. Wallace has made quite a name for her precisely made picturesque Zuni inlay work, and is known for her butterflies, thunderbirds, Kachinas and the Sunface inlays. Adrian Wallace (sometimes identified as Adrian Elizabeth Wallace) is a prominent Zuni Puebloan jewelry artist celebrated for her intricate and picturesque mosaic inlay work. Based in the Zuni Pueblo in New Mexico, she is widely recognized for her mastery of traditional lapidary skills, where stones are hand-cut and polished to fit precisely within sterling silver settings. The artist's hallmark is stamped on the reverse, "AW ZUNI". The bracelet is in beautiful condition. Measures 6.5" inside circumference including the .5" opening, 1"W x 2.25"L x 1.75"D, collective weight is 19.6 grams.
