Featured in this lot is this inlay Hoop Dancer ring circa 1960's from Zuni artist Janet Amesoli. The ring features a wonderfully and professionally crafted inlay construction that shows a sterling silver ram and a Zuni "Hoop Dancer" that shows stones such as Turquoise, carnelian, mother of pearl, and agat4e. The ring is marked on the back of the ring as follows: Zuni - J.A. Janet Amesoli is a Zuni jeweler known for her intricate and traditional Zuni jewelry designs, particularly in the medium of stone inlay. The Zuni people are renowned for their skill in jewelry-making, especially their use of fine stones such as turquoise, coral, and mother of pearl, which are often inlaid into silver to create beautiful and symbolic pieces. The condition of this inlay Zuni ring is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The overall measurements of this ring is 2 1/8" x 7/8" x 1 1/4" and the ring size is US 8 1/2. The collective weight of this ring is 12.3g.
