This is an outstanding, sale highlight set showing a fine Sleeping Beauty Turquoise petit point squash blossom and earrings from renowned silversmith artist husband and wife, Maryann and Felix Chavez of the Zuni Pueblo. The necklace and earrings show the correct hallmark showing a stylized M with and F / C incorporated into the right side of the M text line over top of STERLING (also referred to as offset joined initials). The set is in pristine condition with fine gem quality Sleeping Beauty Mine Turquoise on sterling silver. Large sets such as this are scarce from Maryann and Felix Chavez with this truly being one of the best sets. The squash naja shows a double row of petit point turquoise with rope silver accents and a blossom like accent at the top and inside the naja. The necklace shows twelve blossom's each having a petit point pattern with repousse raised center, silver spotted border and rolled sterling cone blossom end all on a double strand of Navajo pearl sterling concha / concho beads. The necklace measures 27.5"L clasp end to clasp end. The squash pendant is 3.25" by 2 5/8". Each earring is approx. 2 1/8"L. Total weight of the earrings is 8.3 grams. The total weight of the necklace is 126.7 grams.
