Included in this lot is a collection of five Native American art mediums:1) a shadowbox wood framed Zuni sand art named, "Zuni Shrine", a wall hanging made from sands collected from the deserts and mountains of the southwestern US, 7"H x 6"W x 1"D, artist unknown;
2) a stained glass mosaic of a Native American male elder by Oglala Sioux artist Angela Babby, 5"H x 4"W x .5"D; 3) an Inuit Siku wall hanging soapstone carving of a "growling bear defending a seal kill", Siku is carved on the lower right corner of the face, 6"H x 4"W;
4) a ceramic wall hanging depicting a horseback rider lassoing a cow with a background of two mesas, vivid colours, autographed on the rear, Elizabeth M, 4.5"H x 4.75"W
5) and lastly, a signed wall hanging titled, "SALMON", signed DALTRIOE. The design of the salmon is very Native American Haida in the appearance and colours.
On the rear is printed, "One of the major primitive art cultures of the world is attributed to the northwest coast Indians. In the contemporary application of the designs of these Indians, the Log Villa has has carefully endeavored to retain the authentic, "sculptured" line forms.
