Offered in this lot is a collection of four Venetian-made glass, fancy feather, trade bead necklaces from the late 1700's. The first necklace is made of 49 red glass beads with white and light blue feathering. This necklace is strung on raffia. The necklace measures 24". The next necklace is also of red glass with white and blue feathering trailing. There are 46 beads strung on raffia fiber. The necklace measures 24". The third necklace has 43 beads in this necklace. These beads are strung on raffia fiber and the necklace measures 25". The fourth necklace has 31 beads; two of the beads are green glass rather than red glass. The raffia was broken on this necklace and retied. Most of these beads are half-length, with a few whole beads in each necklace. These necklaces are in fair to poor condition, which is to be expected with their age of 200+ years.
