This is a fantastic mid-19th century, Windsor back wood depot bench, collected in Montana and from a Montana Railroad or trolley depot. This 1850-1870’s piece features beautifully turned legs and arm supports, and the back shows smooth dowel supports across, with a wide upper back rail. The bench primarily constructed of wood with sturdy metal support arms underneath the bench. The bench seat appears to be one piece plank. Originally painted black, this item shows signs of age and use on the surfaces, but is in good to fair original condition overall considering its age with some obvious signs of use, uneven feet etc.. It measures approximately 96"L x 33"H x 17.5" seat height, and is 14.5" deep.
