Featured in this lot is this 1854 copy of “The Great Indian Chief of The West” or “Life and Adventures of Black Hawk” by George Conclin. The book features the history of the Saukee and Musquakee Nations, usually called the Sac and Fox Indians. The condition of this book is fair, with wear to the cover and outside spine; the inside spine is fragile but shown intact and there is heavy browning to the pages consistent with the age of the book. The measurements of this book are 7 3/8" x 4 3/4".
