For your consideration is this 1866 first edition copy of “The Life and Campaigns of Lieut.-Gen. U.S. Grant, from his boyhood to the surrender of Lee”. This book includes an accurate account of Sherman's great march from Chattanooga to Washington and the final, official reports of Sheridan, Meade, Sherman, and Grant by Rev P.C. Headley. The condition of this book is good, considering its age; the book shows some fraying to the cloth cover and heavy browning to the pages, but the overall integrity of the book is good. The measurements of this book are 9 1/2" x 6 1/4".
