For your consideration is this 1870-1900s Eastlake burl drop front writing desk. The desk features a walnut wood construction and shows walnut burl drop front accent panels. The top section opens with a key to reveal eight separate slots and a small drawer in the bottom left. When opened, the back of the door reveals a green felt base. The front of the door features a walnut burl drop accent panel. The lower section of the desk shows a top drawer going across the width of the desk, two smaller drawers on the bottom left and a small door with no handle on the right. The drawers and door feature walnut burl drop accent panels as well. The four drawers on the lower section all feature unique Victorian knight in armor drawer pulls. The door on the bottom right is missing a handle and cannot be opened. The top piece shows a detailed, carved cornice with carved wood pillars. The desk sits on four casters making it easy to move around. The desk shows good condition overall with some slight wear but no obvious damage is present other than the missing knob on the bottom door. The desk measures 17 1/8" L x 28" W x 58 1/4" H.
