Featured in this lot is this tintype of a man with his high wheel bicycle circa 1870's shown in the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum; Provenance: From the Tombstone Western Heritage Museum in Tombstone, Arizona. The photograph shows a wonderfully and professionally crafted tintype construction that shows a gilt tin decorated and leather wrapped frame. The man is wearing a vest and nice slacks with a straw flat bill hat and holding onto the high wheel bicycle with his left arm. The condition of this High Wheel tintype is well preserved with the leather wrapped frame showing the front cover missing but otherwise the tintype is well preserved. The measurements of this framed tintype is 3 5/8" x 3 3/8" x 3/8". The collective weight of this framed tintype is 77.2g.
