Lee" by John Esteen Cooke (1830-1886), author of "Surry of Eagle's Nest," "Mohun," etc. This book is published by G.W. Dillingham Co, New York. This classic book contains the biography of General Robert E. Lee, the famous military officer best known for having commanded the Confederate Army of Northern Virginia in the American Civil War. Confederate books are becoming harder to find. The book is bound in a light brown cloth with a gold, white, black, and green embossment on the spine and cover. The condition of this book is good, with some fading to the spine of the book and light foxing to the pages consistent with the age of the book. The measurements of this book are 7 1/2" x 5 1/8".
