Featured in this lot is this 1893 illustrated copy of, "Sword and Pen or Adventures of Willard Glazier, (The Soldier-Author) in War and Literature: Comprising Incidents and Reminiscences of His Childhood". The book was published by P. W. Ziegler & Company Publishers, Philadelphia, 1883 and was originally only sold by subscription. It has a brown cloth binding with stamped, black bands on the front cover. There are stamped gilt lettering and designs on the front cover and spine. The condition of this book is good with slight wear to the cover and spine of the book. The interior pages are in good condition with no signs of tears or foxing. The book measures 7 1/2" L x 5 3/8" W x 1 1/4" D.
