The book shows an orange/red cloth hardcover with embossed black and gilt images of flowers, leaves, an axe and a war scene. The book is illustrated with numerous drawings. The book details the life of the famed Civil War General and later President of the United States. The book is in good condition overall with the front cover and spine showing slight wear. The interior pages are in good condition with only the first two pages detached from the book. The rest of the interior pages show no signs of tears or foxing, only slight browning to the very edges of pages. The book measures 8 7/8" L x 6 1/4" W x 2 1/4" D.
