For your consideration is this scarce, 1885 first edition of "Boots and Saddles or Life in Dakota with General Custer" written by Elizabeth B. Custer. The book is a wonderful narrative of the life of General Custer on the plains during the mid to late 1800's. The book was written as a dedication to her husband, General George Armstrong Custer, and chronicles their life together, until his untimely death at the hands of Indians at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. The overall condition of this book is good, with slight wear to the cover in the corners and spine of the book and browning consistent with its age. The measurements of this book are 7 1/2" x 5 1/4".
