Offered in this lot we have a commemorative medallion from the 1893 Worlds Columbian Exposition held in Chicago. The first sign shows a wonderfully detailed, embossed image of the Chicago administration building and is marked across the face, reading "Worlds Columbian Exposition - Chicago - 1893 - Administration Building". The second shows the embossed image of a early bicycle and is marked across the face of the piece reading "Rambler Bicycles - Compliments of - Gormully & Jeffery MFG Co. - Chicago - Boston. Washington. New York. Coventry, Eng.". The piece shows good condition with a nice warm finish. The diameter of the coin measures 2 3/4" and is 3/8" thick.
