For your consideration is this 1893 copy of “Wild Western Scenes” by J. B. Jones. This is a rare book narrating the exploits of Daniel Boone, "The Great American Pioneer". Particularly described are the accounts of bear, deer, and buffalo hunts, desperate conflicts with the savages, wolf hunts, fishing, fowling adventures, and encounters with serpents, etc. This copy is illustrated with sixteen engravings from original designs. The condition of this book is good for its age, with wear consistent with a pre-1900's book, showing rub marks to the corners of the book and browning to the pages. The measurements of this book are 7 1/2" x 5 1/4".
