Included in this lot is an original Montana Sport, londres cigar box originating from the 1920's. The box displays wooden construction with the original paper bands across the corners and edges. The piece shows a Springer Spaniel on one side with "Montana Sport Periores Selecte" around it. The front of the box is marked "Londres The Cigars herein contained were manufactured to retail at more than eight cents each and not more than fifteen cents each and are so tax-paid". The cigar box shows a union made cigars tag and part of a tax paid paper stamp. The bottom of the box shows factory information for the cigars. The piece shows good condition for its age, showing some wear. The piece measures 5 3/4" wide by 5 3/4" long and 3 3/4" tall.
