Featured in this lot we have a original polished bronze sculpture of a female shepherd by E. F. Pialli from 1899. The woman is shown wearing a flowing simple dress with a shepherds staff in her right hand and a bouquet of flowers in her left. The base of the piece is marked "E. F. Pialli Sc. 1899" across the right side (Figures left) of the base. Very little is known about this artist. The sculpture shows good condition overall with a few spots showing a warm patina.
