Featured in this lot is this 1906 1st edition of "Wonderland" by Olin D. Wheeler, copy-righted by A. M. Cleland and published by Poole Bros in Chicago. This book was a promotional work by the Northern Pacific Railroad Company showing the scenic attractions of its train routes through locations such as: Yellowstone National Park, the Bitterroot Mountains and the Columbia River and Puget Sound regions. The book shows photos of Montana, Yellowstone National Park, the Cascade Range and more. The book shows a purple paper cover with an illustration of some trees, a bear and a waterfall, along with the title and date. The back of the book features the Northern Pacific Railroad Company logo and "Yellowstone Park Line" reading underneath it. The book shows good condition with slight wear to the spine. The interior pages are in good condition with some light noting throughout but no signs of tears or foxing. The book measures 9 1/2" L x 6 3/4" W x 1/4" D.
