In this lot is a 1906 handmade and wood burned decorated wooden tool box with tools. The tool box has a hinged lid and measures 31 1/4" X 5" X 2 3/4". The outside of the box is decorated with wood burned holly leaves and berries. The inside of the box is divided into three sections. The tools include a Craftsman #4029 Stainless Steel Protractor, a wood ruler, a brass plum bob, Herbrand No.179 Chrome-Alloy pliers, and a W.S.-CO. Compass (New Haven Conn. Dec. 1905), just to name a few of the tools. The box is signed and dated on the bottom, 1906. Many of the fifteen tools are dated from early 1900 and have standalone value. In this box, they make a wonderful collection.
