It has a full pad of months for the year 1913 stapled to the bottom and metal band along the bottom. The central illustration reproduces a wonderful work by noted illustrator N.C. Wyeth titled "Alaskan Mail Carrier". It depicts an event in the life of an Alaskan mail carrier named Henderson, credited with the discovery of gold in the famed Klondike Gold Rush, when he was attacked by a pack of wolves. He pulled his trusty six-shooter and managed to kill most of the attackers before the last two wolves decided to beat a hasty retreat. The condition of this advertisement is is good and well preserved behind glass with some scuff marks to the frame of the advertisement. The measurements of this framed advertisement is 23 3/4" x 18 3/4" and the visible art measures 19 1/2" x 15".
