Featured in this lot we have a large Native American Indian polychrome pottery vase originating from the late 1800's to early 1900's. The vase displays excellent and impressive size and is believed to be Acoma or Mississippian in origin. The vase features red clay construction with a rounded bottom and short neck. The piece shows a a black smoky pattern along one side. The vase shows fair condition overall for its age with a number of cracks and two holes across the exterior. The piece measures 20 1/2" tall by 19" wide.
