In this lot is a Colt Police Positive revolver, chambered for .38 special, with the original box. The revolver has a manufacture date of 1914. The pistol features checkered hard rubber COLT factory grips, contrasted by a blue finish. The revolver is marked with three Colt logos, two oval "Colt" trademark logos (one on each grip), and a bucking Colt on the left side of the frame. The barrel of the pistol is marked "Police Positive 38 Special" on the left side and across the top, reading "Colt's Pt. F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, CT. U.S.A. Pat'd Aug. 5, 1884. June 5. 1900 July 4. 1905." The cylinder release features good operation and checkered pattern. The revolver comes with its original Colt box and papers. Serial Number: 104091.
