For your bidding pleasure is this 1920 J. Gabriel Cernay Cottage Hotel Linen Poster. An accomplished French landscape artist, Justin Gabriel was highly respected for both his paintings and etchings. He studied art in Paris under both Ziem and Gleyre and began exhibiting regularly at the Salon de Paris in 1865. This fantastic linen backed travel poster "Cernay Cottage Hotel", Vallée de Chevreuse, France is signed by J. Gabriel and printed in full stone lithograph by Charles Verneau, Paris, printed around 1920. The image is spectacular art noveau style with fresh and vivid colors showing the cottage upstream through a thicket of trees. The linen poster is in good condition and will display well in any environment. The measurements of this poster are 64" x 48"
