For your consideration is this 1930-40s Stetson Hats plug in light sign. John B. Stetson (May 5th, 1830 - February 18, 1906) was born in 1830 in Orange, New Jersey. He began his first hat business in Philadelphia in 1865, where he eventually manufactured the hat that made him famous—the Boss of the Plains. In creating the first cowboy hat, John B. Stetson has made his mark on Western iconography. The sign shows a triangular shape with green colored borders and a metal casing. The front reads, "Stetson Hats" in green lettering outlined in gray and shows a black background. The top of the sign shows a small chain to hang the sign. The sign has been tested and is in working order. The sign shows good condition with fading to the black background and metal components, while the the top shows a small dented portion in the corner. The sign measures 4 1/4" L x 19 1/4" W x 9 1/8" H.
