Featured in this lot is an Art Deco, 1930's, blue amethyst and 10k yellow gold ring. This ring shows a vintage art deco style 10k yellow gold ring band design with a gold weight of 3.2gm. The ring has a wonderful blue amethyst stone showing faceted oval cabochon construction and an overall weight of 1.70 carats. The gold band and setting shows a six prong setting with stamped gold to the face of the ring. The ring size is US 8. The ring is marked 10kw on the inside of the ring band. This ring is from the Marcel Gilbrat Collection from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan, NY.
