Included in this lot is a Kashan Persian, hand knotted wool runner rug, originating from 1930's. This is a wonderfully patterned Persian rug shown from a city in the northern part of Isafahan province, Iran. The rug has lovely designs and a high thread count. The rug displays geometric medallion patterns with a layered border. The colors used in the design is usually a combination of deep blues, rich reds, and ivory with occasional splotches of yellow, green, and burnt orange. The rug features two borders, each showing geometric designs. The piece shows good condition overall, with little wear and use. The rug measures 36" wide by 109" long.
