Featured in this lot is this notable Billings, Montana advertising calendar collection circa 1930's. There are three calendar's in this collection. The first is a Nickey's advertisement out of Billings, Mont. with artwork from Haskell Cottin of a woman with some flowers by her left shoulder and circa 1935. The second is a New Goodrich Safety Silvertown advertisement and Williams Motor Co. advertisement both out of Billings, Montana with artwork from Garnet Bancroft Fox (1890-1977) of two hunting dogs sitting down and staring out of the bushes. The third is a Vaughn-Ragsdale Co. advertisement along with a Wolverine Shell Horse-Hide Work Shoes advertisement from Henry Sumner "Hy" Watson (1868-1933) and shows a scene of two men fishing with one with a rod in his hand and one paddling the canoe circa 1937. The condition of this collection of calendars is well preserved behind plastic wrapping with the Vaughn-Ragsdale Co. calendar shows a big tear in the top left hand corner and the Nickey's calendar is torn in the top left hand corner. The measurements of these calendars range from 15 3/4" x 8" to 17" x 10".
