Available in this lot we have a Satin Oil metal advertising sign originating from the 1930's. The sign features a off-white colored background with a dark blue border and embossed lettering. The sign is marked in the upper left corner "Lives In Fire Like The Salamander" with a image of a salamander surrounded by flames. The center of the piece is marked "Satin Oil" with "Guaranteed Paraffin Oil" across the bottom. The sign shows fair condition for its age with wear, discoloration, and rust across the face of the sign. The piece measures 27 1/2" wide by 13" tall.
