A "jack" (Gösch in German) is a small version of the national flag of any country that is flown from a jackstaff on the bow of a war ship to indicate its nationality, while a military or war ensign is flown on the stern. There is a 2-loop rope sewed into the white reinforcement along the hoist edge. Both corners of the hoist edge are reinforced as are the top, bottom and fly edge of this Nazi flag. The stamped-on identification of manufacturer: G.A. Fröhlichs Sohn A.G. Warnsdorf. Sud.; which the last name to the flag is the town where it was made A.G. Warnsdorf. Sud. Near the term Gösch is the Nazi eagle stamp placed above the “M” for Marine (Navy). The measurements for this flag are 51" x 30"
