Featured in this lot is a De Luxe Mercury gum ball trade simulator machine originating from the 1940's. The vendor is a one cent coin operated, three reel cigarette trade simulator and gum ball vending machine. The piece shows a metal plate across the top and front, reading "1940 De Luxe Mercury - Your coin buys one ball of delicious gum test your skill line up three of a kind for additional amusement". The front of the machine shows a metal plate with a woman relaxing and holding a cigarette. The trade simulator is made of red and silver painted sections with metal internal workings. The piece shows good working condition. The piece measures 9" wide by 9 3/4" tall and 10" deep.
