Featured in this lot is this Yoruba polychrome hide shield, circa early 1900's. The hide shield shows polychrome decoration with a wood martin and shows a trade cloth handle on the back of the shield and a thick example of hide. The condition of this hide shield is fair, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this hide shield are 27 1/2" x 16 1/2" x 4 1/2".
